While I have danced extensively in Buenos Aires, Dallas and Miami, I had never before attended this type of event outside of Austin. So, there I was, the new kid on the block. And guys, I commend those brave souls who, ego in their back pocket, were bold enough to ask an unknown woman to dance. From my partners' feedback, none regretted it. Thanks to those Festival men who dared to go beyond their comfort zones with an unknown. That was a very porteño type of universal gift of expansiveness.
