"How would I acknowledge magic? Look for it, notice it, appreciate it, breathe it in, watch for it, wait for it, luxuriate in it, feel it, allow it to infuse my awareness and being, believe in it, smile at it, and trust that magic can be my guide."

and one moment seems so short
if you try to think about it.
yet if you experience it instead
it never ends

I love this post! It affirms what I believe regardless of what I believe about prior to life or the afterlife. I love what is said about epitaphs: Year born - Year died. But, the important part is found in the dash between the two. Ironic, you found your dash in pleasure. I found my dash in suffering. Either way, if you are truly philosophic: you find that the Now, is all that matters, Now. What I am saying is not as simplistic as it seems. It took one hell of a path that was incredibly difficult, very complicated, to return to the truth- which is ultimately self-evident and very simple= but, so hard to find on the Way. I appreciate Nihilistic philosophy- it is the darkness that makes light so much clearer, but I adhere to magic. The magic of this moment. This moment is all I have.
