Why Blog?

Since I was around 12, I kept a journal. Journaling offers me a unique path to sort through my thoughts, feelings, and life. I often arrive at a place of clarity and further understanding around what I have written about. Already, I have self-published 4 books. This form of intensive writing greatly assisted me in the ability to teach with more skill and frequently dramatic results.
In addition, I often look for underlying motivations in my actions and other people’s actions. Also, I frequently look for self-motivation. Blogging combines these two motivations: it furthers my understanding of underlying motivations, as well as provides self-motivation in many ways.
Therefore, I intend for this blog to:
- arrive at a place of clarity and further understanding of Tango
- increase my ability to teach, dance and DJ Tango
- attain greater clarity in my life journey, which has now become mostly Tango
- reach many people that I could otherwise not reach without a blog, for I believe I have gifts to share in the Tango world, and want to give these gifts to many
- interact more with other bloggers who reflect on Tango – I have already found richness, laughter, wisdom, and good info in their posts
- blogging seems one of many appropriate next steps to grow and interact in the Tango world
- be of service to myself first and foremost, and to you my readers second
FREQUENCY OF WRITING: I used to be ambitious and make somewhat grandiose plans, not now. With my blog I really do not know if I will be consistent, or frequent or even write more than another entry. I and you shall see
YOUR FEEDBACK: Please be kind in your feedback. I will be kind in my writing to all of you. I have had enough mean-spiritedness from myself and others for a few lifetimes.
With curiosity, adventure and playfulness, here I go…
